Data Collection & Privacy

This page explains how FarmKeeper collects and uses user data during signup and authentication. It is intended for users and third-party compliance review (e.g. transactional email providers).

1) Introduction

FarmKeeper collects user data directly from users during account registration on our platform. We do not purchase or import third-party email lists.

2) How We Collect Data

A. Normal Signup

Users fill out a registration form on our platform to create an account.

Data collected: Name, Email, Farm Name

B. Google Authentication

Users can sign up or sign in with Google. On first login, users are prompted to complete onboarding so we can collect required information for their FarmKeeper account.

On first-time Google login, we collect: Farm Name, Name (if missing), Subscription Plan

3) Consent

  • Users agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy during registration and/or onboarding.
  • Consent is required before account creation is completed.
  • If optional marketing consent is enabled in the future, it will be clearly presented as optional and stored separately.

5) Data Usage

We use collected data only for:

  • Account creation and user authentication
  • Providing our farm management services and features
  • Sending transactional emails (e.g. welcome emails, password resets, account notifications)

6) No Third-Party Lists

We do not buy, rent, or import email lists. All users register directly through our platform.
